Lisa’s practice focuses on estate and business planning and real estate transactions. She has considerable experience drafting wills, trusts, advance directives, and powers-of-attorney and advises on federal and state estate tax issues and charitable planning.

He is well known in the Portland jazz community as part of the PDX Jazz Festival production team and performer as a jazz vocalist and guitarist.

Norm has limited his practice to workers’ compensation since 1979. He represents injured workers under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, its extensions, and the Oregon Compensation Act.
Mary advises business owners and other individuals about business transactions, estates, wills, trusts, and business succession. A fifth-generation Oregonian, Mary is a graduate of Oregon State University and a proud member of Beaver Nation. Outside of the office, Mary is often found knitting, gardening and traveling.
Doug represents numerous family and closely held businesses. His practice concentrates on corporations and businesses, real estate transactions and development, estate planning, and mergers and acquisitions. This practice background offers the experience necessary to provide unique services to his clients.
Jim maintains a diverse practice assisting individuals, businesses, and medical professionals. He has extensive trial experience in both federal and state courts, including business, personal injury, domestic relations, and criminal trials. He also represents health care professionals before licensing boards and advises clients on legal issues that impact business operations. Jim is a former member of the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the State Board of Psychologists. He is a current member of the Governor’s Counsel of Economic Advisors.
Greg specializes in employee benefits including retirement, health, and executive compensation programs. He regularly assists nonprofit organizations with their formation, obtaining tax exempt status, and operational matters. He competed in track and cross country at the University of Oregon and continues to be involved in the sport by assisting with youth track programs.
Scott represents businesses and individuals in forming new businesses, buying and selling businesses and real estate, commercial and residential construction projects, construction liens and bond claim enforcement, and creditor-debtor matters. He provides clients with practical, efficient advice to achieve their business and financial objectives.
Kent practices real estate law in Oregon and Washington and advises Oregon businesses. He represents developers, buyers and sellers, and long-term landowners, and is the firm’s go-to on tax matters. His business practice includes formations, mergers, acquisitions, succession planning and contract work.
John gained significant trial experience as a Deputy District Attorney prior to joining the firm, handling a sizeable misdemeanor and felony caseload which included DUIIs, crimes of domestic violence, drug and property offenses, and serious Ballot Measure 11 person crimes. John’s practice focuses on personal injury matters, domestic relations, and criminal defense.
Richard’s practice focuses on personal injury and maritime law. He represents injured plaintiffs in civil litigation and injured workers under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, the Jones Act, and the Defense Base Act.
Bob practices both litigation and transactional matters in Oregon and Washington. His litigation practice focuses on representing owners, developers, design professionals, prime contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers in all aspect of construction disputes. He also has substantial experience in insurance law, both from the defendant and plaintiff perspective, including catastrophic injury claims under Oregon’s Employer Liability Law. His business practice includes formation, corporate compliance, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, and other business transactions.
Doug specializes in commercial litigation, domestic relations, and personal injury matters. An adept trial attorney, he works hard to resolve difficult and complex disputes through settlement when possible. He’s been a lifelong resident of Portland and represents a number of Portland businesses.
An experienced trial lawyer, Matt has tried over twenty jury trials through verdict and has been very successful.
