He has extensive trial experience in both federal and state courts, including business, personal injury, domestic relations, and criminal trials. He also represents health care professionals before licensing boards and advises clients on legal issues that impact business operations. Jim is a former member of the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the State Board of Psychologists. He is also a former member of the Governor’s Council of Economic Advisors.

Jim has extensive trial experience in both federal and state courts and administrative hearings. His trial experience includes commercial and business litigation, personal injury trials, domestic relations trials, and criminal trials. He also practices administrative law representing health care professionals in issues involving professional licenses. Jim also advises the firm's business clients on a variety of legal issues that impact business operations. Before joining the firm, Jim prosecuted white-collar crime on behalf of the State of Oregon.
